Not too long ago, I thought time spent was worth it as long as I get paid.
Afterall, money is needed to buy the material things in this world.
I like to think that I'm not too attached to those things, but once in a while something grabs my attention and won't let go.
Now that need is satisfied... somewhat. It needed a lot of money, and will still need a whole lot more.
Was the time spent earning that money worth it? I'll tell you on Monday.
However, I have come to realise that more often than not, the best moments I want to treasure, the moments I want to have... they can't be bought with money.
They are had with the people you can't afford to lose. The people who won't give a rat's ass about whether you rock up in rags or riches.
They do need time though. Time I should be more than willing to invest.
Time, you little bastard, once I find you, I'm keeping you in a nitrogen filled case so that you never age.
Then I'm gonna drive to my heart's content, and have enough memories to saturate this short life of mine.
