Start Your Engines

Today was the first time I actually went to work on my car and replaced a faulty part.

With a bit of advice from new friends and the interwebs, it was a fairly straightforward process, but it got my hands dirty, I learned a bit and I loved every bit of it.

At first my dad was scolding me for buying a piece of shit car, but when I told him that I like to play with cars and I am doing this myself to learn rather than pay someone else to do it, he changed his attitude.

Most likely because back in his day he himself had to tinker with his car. While it was out of necessity rather than a passion, I think he still enjoyed it and this resparked his interest.

My car is like a girl, it may not perfect, but that's what I love about it.

Man of your word

When you think you got nothing left

A man has his word

It may not be worth much to you,

But it means everything to me.

Crescent

The moon was out this morning.

5am when the birds were waking up to the breaking day.

Quite the sight.

Twice the Meaning

In about a month I become unchartered (pun intended).

CANNOT WAIT :D :D :D :D :D !!!!!!!

Its been a long struggle so far, and the hardest trial is yet to come.

Whether this long journey has been worth it will be found out in the next month.

However, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.(see Eileen, I learnt better grammar from your corrections on my EP - proof read my thesis when I draft it up? :P)

Seeing the sun again is whats driving me for now, wish me luck (Y)

Lost Line of Communication

Its like when you drop your one-of-a-kind phone that last time.

The speaker is partially broken. And there's no replacement parts.

You are on your own and want to communicate to someone.

Anyone? Not really.

But deep down you know you don't need it. Its not crucial to your survival.

Not now. Not this time.

You are not sure whether there's any point in trying to even dial it out.

Hearing only small spurts of the other side won't do any good.

Reception in this place is shit anyway.

Maybe its time to communicate with myself again, but in person.

Cut the frays. Strip the wires. Resolder the connections.

GPS don't fail me now.
